Bookstore Offering Another Look at Mary Baldwin

Three landmarks of Mary Baldwin University — Program for the Exceptionally Gifted Center, Grafton Library, and Hunt Dining Hall — are strikingly captured on a new print being offered at the Mary Baldwin Bookstore. The photographer, James O. Phelps, who specializes in Civil War battlefield photography created the sepia print in a panoramic style.

“Alumnae appreciate fine-quality prints of the Mary Baldwin University campus because for many of them, it is the closest thing to being back in Staunton, back to where they have so many cherished memories,” said Liz Jennings Shupe ’70, director of alumnae/i and parent relations.

The prints, sold for $245 each, are all signed by Phelps and numbered. Stop by the Bookstore, or call 540-887-7264 to purchase.
